Peace is sought as much by the rich as the poor.The poor need food and shelter for peace and the rich need peace despite having food and shelter.This is the paradox faced by almost everyone.

ऐ दिल ले चल कहीं दूर,

जहाँ प्यार ही प्यार हो,

कोई किसी का शत्रु न हो,

जहाँ खुशियाँ बेहिसाब हो,

हौले-हौले बहकर हवा देती हो सुकून,

शांत वातावरण हो,खिले फूल बेहिसाब हों,

न करें कोई इक दूजे से गिले-शिकवे जहाँ,

जीने की उमंग और आशा लहरों की तरह अठखेलियाँ खाएं जहाँ|

If your eyes are positive,you will like all the people in the world,but if your tongue is positive,all the people in the world will like you.

भोर होने का सबसे ज्यादा स्वगत,

नन्हीं  चिड़ियाँ ही करतीं हैं,

पौ पटने से पहले ही उठकर,ये 

चहचहाकर  सारे जग को उठाती हैं,

खुश होकर,ये सबको जीने का राज़ बतातीं हैं,

चिड़ियाँ हैं बहुत छोटी,अपने नन्हे मुख से 

प्रकृति का गुणगान करते नहीं थकतीं हैं|

सदैव स्वस्थ,स्वच्छ और सुन्दर रहना चाहिए तथा अपने कुल परिवार की श्रेष्ठ परम्पराओं का पालन करके कुल-परिवार का यश बढाना चाहिए|

जग में अगर संगीत न होता,

कोई किसी का मीत न होता,

यह एहसान है सात सुरों का,

यह दुनिया वीरान नहीं है,

प्रेम नहीं जिसे सुर से,

वो इंसान ,इंसान नहीं है|

The best discipline is self-discipline,unless you have self control,you cannot lead a disciplined life.

जलता है दिया जीवन का,

जब तक तेल डाल रहा है वो,

बुझ जाएगा,एक ही पल में 

उस मालिक के एक इशारे पर,

मोह,माया,लोभ में फंसकर व्यर्थ इतरा रहा इंसान,

अपने ही बनाए हुए ताने-बाने में,उलझा रहा नादान,

अपना चैन खोकर,स्वयं के हित से अनजान रहा इंसान,

ढूँढ रहा है क्या,ये समझ के भी न समझ सका,राह से भटका हुआ इंसान|

A day without love and laughter is a day without life.

ओस की बूंदों से नहलाई ,
फूलों से महकाई,
चाँद-तारों से सजाई,
अपने दिल में,सदा सम्हाल के रखना,
दोस्ती हमारी,
ये है हमारे जीवन भर की कमाई|

When life becomes dark and killing,go out and seek a place of solitude to find space for some soul searching.That would be the way to a peaceful mind.

सपनों ने ऐसा डेरा डाला है,इन आँखों में 

अब तो हकीक़त भी सपना लगती है,

क्या कहें,अब तो तुम्हारी बेरुखी  भी,

हमें न जाने क्यों,अच्छी लगती है,

तुम पास हो हमारे,ये क्या कम है,

जब हमसफ़र हो तुम,तो क्या गम है|

Happiness or misery is in the hand of man himself.

हम खता पे खता किये जा रहें हैं,

इक बेवफा से ,

वफ़ा कि उम्मीद में जिए जा रहें हैं,
फुर्सत किसके पास है ,
किसी का हाले -दिल सुनने की,
इसलिए अपने अश्कों को,
बस अंदर ही अंदर पिए जा रहें है| 

वही मंगल है,जिससे मन प्रसन्न हो,वही जीवन है,जो परसेवा में बीते,वही अर्जित है,जिसका भोग स्वजन करें|

You are a loser in life,if you often ruin the happiness of others.

Once you get used to doing nothing,you find that there is no time left to become busy.

आकाश के झिलमिलाते तारे,लगतें हैं बहुत प्यारे,
चमकते हुए चाँद ने,अँधेरी रात को बना दिया जवाँ,
सुबह सूरज ने आकर,कर दिया रोशन सारा जहां,
नदियाँ खुश हैं,जानते हुए,कि उनके दोनों किनारे मिलेंगे कहाँ,
ये तो अपनी-अपनी किस्मत कि बात है,कोई कहाँ तो कोई कहाँ|

Weapons by themselves are not dangerous,it is the anger within man that is harmful.

No matter how bad a person may be,he must posses atlleast one virtue.Be like the humming bird and pick the sweetness of virtues.

गुज़रे जो गलियों से तुम्हारी,
याद तुम्हारी आने लगी,
हवा के हर झोंके से तुम्हारे,
प्यार की खुशबू आने लगी,
दिल का हर तार,
तुम्हे याद करके गुनगुनाने लगा,
तुम्हारे साथ बीता हर लम्हा,
हमें चुपके-चुपके गुदगुदाने लगा|
