A devotee used to walk all the way to Tirupathi once a year to visit the temple and deposit the amount given by many other devotees. As he grew old, once while he was walking, he fainted and was unable to walk further. The Lord appeared in his thoughts and told him that he neednt walk anymore and directed him to a nearby place. When he reached there, he found a coconut and tulsi plant as an indication to build a temple there. When the land was being dug up for the construction, the Lord's idol surfaced. The same was installed in the temple and hence the Lord in the temple is a swayambu moorthy.

पैरों ने ज़मीन पर ठोकर मारते हुए दंभ दिखाया "मुझ पर ही तो सम्पूर्ण शारीर अवलंबित है| मेरे बिना वह मांस के लोथड़े के सिवा कुछ भी नहीं है | मुंह ,नाक , कान सबने बारी - बारी अपने महत्व को स्थापित किया |इन अंगों की बहस सुनकर शारीर के आंतरिक अंग दिल - दिमाग आदि भी सतर्क हो गये पर वे कुछ बोलते , उससे पहले ही पांव पर एक कीड़े ने डंक मार दिया | मस्तिष्क के आदेश पर हाथों ने आखों की सहायता लेकर कीड़े को तत्काल चुटकी से पकड़कर फैंक दिया |डंक की जलन को कम करने के लिए मुंह जब पीड़ित स्थान पर फूंक मारने लगा तभी अन्य अंग हरकत में आ गये और वे समझ गये की सहयोग , समन्वय और एकता से ही शरीर का अस्तित्व है|

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.

3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less from people but more from God.
